What Villajoyosa has instead is a real working town with its own economy, a large Spanish-speaking customer base and a summer that fills the seafront. The searches that matter are mostly in Spanish, and the competition for them is far softer than in Benidorm, eight kilometres up the road.

Where the opportunity actually is
In Spanish searches, mostly, and in being the business that shows up properly when somebody in Villajoyosa looks for what you sell instead of driving to Benidorm for it.
For businesses on the seafront and in the old town, the summer traffic is worth preparing for in winter: a listing with good photographs and recent reviews by May is worth more than any campaign launched in July.
