Digital marketing agency in Altea Ten minutes from your door.
We live here, and that is not a slogan: it is the reason we know that the business on the Paseo and the business up in Altea la Vella are not in the same market. 39.1 % of the town holds a foreign passport, and no single nationality dominates.
From 150 € + VAT a month. No tie-in: if it stops working for you, you stop.
Altea is the mixed town, not the British one
Altea has 24,731 residents and 9,659 of them hold a foreign passport: 39.1 %. What makes it unusual is the shape of that figure. The largest group on the register is not the British, who number 868. It is the category the INE calls «other European countries», with 4,289 people, which is where the Dutch, the Belgians, the Germans, the Norwegians and the Russians all end up since the statistics stopped breaking them out by municipality in 2023.
In practice that means a business in Altea cannot pick one language and be done. Spanish and English cover most of it, but you will be read by people whose English is their second language too, and that changes how you write: short sentences, prices visible, no idioms.
The other thing about Altea is that it is small and everybody can see everybody. Your reviews are read by your neighbours. That cuts both ways, and it is why review strategy here matters more than clever advertising.

Altea in three numbers
None of them is our opinion. INE, Annual Population Census, 1 January 2025.
Where we start in Altea
With the Google listing, because it is what appears on the map and it works before your website does. Categories, services, opening hours that are actually right, photographs of the real place, and a routine for reviews.
Then the website, if yours is slow or nobody finds it. Then, only then, advertising and social media. That order saves people money and it is why our entry pack is 150 € and not 950 €.
Because we are based here, we can come to your premises to film, which is what the Complete and Pro packs include once a month. It is the difference between an account that looks like yours and one that looks like a template.
Altea is not one town, it is three
There is the old town on the hill, where the galleries and most of the restaurants are and where somebody searching is usually already walking around. There is the seafront and the marina, where the search happens before people arrive. And there is Altea la Vella and the urbanisations behind it, where a customer looking for a plumber or a vet sees a completely different map because Google decides from where the phone is.
A business in the old town competes with forty others inside three hundred metres. A business up the hill competes with almost nobody but has to make sure it appears at all for the area it serves. The listing is set up differently in each case, and that is most of the job here.
The season, and the eight months that are not the season
Altea fills between June and September and then goes quiet. The instinct is to spend on marketing in June, which is exactly the wrong month: Google takes weeks to trust changes to a listing and months to trust a website, so work started in June pays off in October, when the town has emptied.
The businesses here that have a good summer sorted their listing out in winter. And there is a second reason to keep going out of season: 39.1 % of Altea holds a foreign passport and a large part of them live here all year. They are not tourists, and they are looking for a dentist, a builder and a restaurant in February too.

Frequently asked questions about Altea
You are in Altea. Does being local actually change anything?
It changes two things. We can be at your business in ten minutes, which matters for the photographs and the monthly filming. And we know the town: which streets have footfall, when the season really starts, and what people here actually type into Google.
I am in Altea la Vella or an urbanisation, not the old town. Can I rank?
Yes, and it has to be set up on purpose. Google shows a different map depending on where the person is standing, so a business outside the centre competes for different searches. Done properly that is an advantage: far fewer competitors.
What languages should my listing be in?
Spanish and English as a minimum. Altea’s largest foreign group is a mix of European nationalities rather than one dominant one, so English is the common ground rather than the target.

How much does it cost?
From 150 € + VAT a month for the Profile pack. Websites are separate, a one-off from 600 €.
Do you work in English?
Yes, from the first message to the monthly report. Four out of ten people living in Altea are foreign nationals, so English is not a courtesy here, it is the job.
Is there a minimum term?
No, on any of the four packs. Month by month.
